The LEGO Group welcomes Alessandro Nasi to its Board of Directors

  • Alessandro Nasi is Non-Executive Director of Exor NV, one of Europe’s leading diversified holding companies controlled by the Agnelli family.

  • Jørgen Vig Knudstorp will step down from the Board as planned following his transition to a non-executive role announced in September 2024.

BILLUND, DENMARK, May 9, 2025: The LEGO Group today announced the appointment of Alessandro Nasi to its LEGO A/S Board of Directors, effective May 9, 2025.

Alessandro Nasi is an experienced international business leader and 5th generation member of the Agnelli family, original founders of Fiat and multi-business family owners.

He is currently Non-Executive Director of Exor NV, one of Europe’s leading diversified holding companies controlled by the Agnelli family and major shareholder of companies including Ferrari, CNH Industrial, automaker Stellantis, and Juventus. Nasi has a background in Economics and began his career in investment banking and private equity in Europe and the US. He has since held various executive leadership roles within the companies in the Fiat Group as well as CNH Industrial.

Nasi has been a member of the Board of Directors of KIRKBI A/S, the holding company of the Kirk Kristiansen family since May 2024 and an advisor since 2019.

In connection with the annual general assembly of the LEGO A/S Board, Jørgen Vig Knudstorp stepped down as planned, following his decision announced September 2024 to transition into a non-executive role.

Jørgen joined the LEGO Group in 2001, where he served as President and CEO from 2004 to 2016. He was appointed Chair of the Board in 2017, a role he held until 2020, when he became a regular member of the Board.

Thomas Kirk Kristiansen also thanked Jørgen Vig Knudstorp for his significant contribution. He navigated challenges and was instrumental in building the successful international company we have today. The LEGO Group Board of Directors, LEGO A/S, consists of eight members, including six independent, non-executive directors.
